Sankofa Intercultural Intelligence
This two-part workshop (50–60 minutes per session) is designed for all students to develop intercultural awareness, inclusive behaviors, and effective communication across diverse cultural perspectives. The goal is to foster a stronger sense of belonging and collaboration in college by helping students explore their cultural identities, engage in peer-to-peer dialogue, and build skills for working effectively in diverse groups.
All students, regardless of background or identity, are encouraged to participate. This workshop supports inclusive classroom environments by recognizing and affirming the varied cultural lenses through which students learn and engage in higher education and beyond.

Time Management
Time Management is an essential aspect of academic success. Managing your time during the academic year can be difficult, especially in the virtual environment. There are 168 hours each week. With class, activities, study, work, and free time, planning becomes essential to get things done. This workshop is open to all students and will help you reflect on how you prioritize, learn task-management and motivation strategies, and understand the importance of self-care and allowing yourself breaks.

Navigating the intricate landscape of higher education requires more than just passion and intellect. Acquiring the right set of study skills is the secret sauce to thrive amidst demanding coursework, complex concepts, and looming deadlines. From implementing active learning techniques, understanding memory retention strategies, to creating personalized study schedules, our workshop covers an extensive range of essential skills. By integrating these advanced study methods into your academic routine, you can boost your comprehension, improve performance, and reduce stress. All students, regardless of background or identity, are encouraged to participate.
Self-Care
As college students, it can be difficult to prioritize self-care while juggling the demands of school, work, and life. However, research has shown that engaging in strategic renewal can boost productivity, job performance, and health. Come learn about the benefits of self-care, what it can mean for you, and ways to take care of your physical, mental, and emotional health. All students, regardless of background or identity, are encouraged to participate.
Impostor Phenomenon
This interactive workshop is open to all students and explores the common experience of impostor thoughts—feelings of self-doubt or not belonging despite evidence of competence. Participants will learn how to recognize these patterns, understand their impact on academic and personal success, and develop strategies to build confidence, self-awareness, and resilience in college and beyond.
